Lead Montessori Lower Elementary Teacher
Job Summary:
Yeshivas Yakir Li, a Jewish Montessori program, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Montessori Teacher to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. As a Lead Teacher, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of educators and guide students through a Montessori curriculum, fostering a love of learning and a strong foundation in both limmudei kodesh and general studies.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Montessori teachers in planning, implementing, and evaluating Lower Elementary curriculum
Develop and maintain a Montessori classroom environment that promotes independence, self-directed learning, and creativity
Design and facilitate lesson plans that integrate limmudei kodesh and general studies
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity across grade levels
Provide guidance and support to Montessori teachers and assistants as needed
Participate in school-wide professional development and staff meetings
Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and parent-teacher conferences
Requirements:
Montessori certification in Lower Elementary
Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and methodology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
